Not as fun as last year. But here are my favorites from the 2010 MET Costume Institute Gala. Thoughts?

Thandie Newton, in Vivienne Westwood. Gorgeous!

Mila Kunis, in Vera Wang

Chanel Iman, in Michael Kors

Zoe Kravitz, in Alexander Wang for Gap

Gwen Stefani, in L.A.M.B.

Elisa Sednaoui, in Chanel Haute Couture

Viola Davis, in Vera Wang

Nicole Richie, in Marc Jacobs

Carey Mulligan, in Miu Miu

Jennifer Lopez, in Zuhair Murad

Kristen Stewart, in Chanel Haute Couture

Rachel Zoe, in stunning yellow Marc Jacobs

  1. Chanel Iman gave me everything I needed! I only wish the clutch didn't match the outfit.

  3. I was trying to pick a favorite and comment on it, but it's simply too hard. I love so many of these designs, and the women they drape across. Maybe I'll go with Thandie... always a classic.

  4. My favorites are:
Gwen (amazing!), Blake Lively (loved the color), Zoe Saldana, Zoe Kravitz, Sienna Miller (loved the dress and shoes!), Kate Bosworth, Rachel Weisz, Melissa George (loved the color!), and Jessica Stam.

    My least favorites are:
Kirsten Dunst (hate those shoes!), Eva Longoria Parker, January Jones (love the dress, hate the gloves and makeup!), Kristin Stewart (hair looks awful as usual), Andre Leon Talley and Whoopi Goldberg (don't even know what to say), Rosario Dawson, and Katy Perry.

  5. Not sure about Kristin's number...and Rachel Zoe is clearly trying to add bulk to her 93 lb. frame.
    Vera Wang dress wins ;)

  7. We have a lot of the same faves. I do agree it wasn't as exciting as last year, but lots of ladies looked beautiful all the same.

  10. I am glad you included Carey. I think this look was panned by many. I love the lace and color!
