Meep & I united to discuss disaster movies of the 1970s (plus one from 1980) on the Retro Movie Love Podcast. I also got a chance to show off some of my disaster movie physical media swag.

Meep & I were missing '92 so came back to take on the array of films released between July and September of that year.
Some highlights: Gas Food Lodging, Boomerang, Husbands and Wives, Sneakers, Singles & Single White Female... and Mikey!
The 1992 series of the Retro Movie Love Podcast rolls on with films released in May & June.
Some highlights include neo-noir One False Move, cab ride anthology pic Night on Earth, eerie The Adjuster, direct-to-TV Illicit Behavior, Batman Returns (especially for its crafts), the charming HouseSitter, and the loveable hit Sister Act.
Meep (Michael Ferrari of Retro Movie Love Podcast) and I discussed the films released between November and December of 1991).
Certainly it was an embarrassment of riches from those two months (Cape Fear, Hook, Beauty & the Beast, Bugsy, The Prince of Tides, The Double Life of Véronique, The People Under the Stairs, The Addams Family, and underrated gems like Billy Bathgate, December and Strictly Business... just to name a few!).
The whole year was such a journey cinematically and fun to be had across a broad array of genres.
After watching for the first time and also revisiting the majority titles from 1991. Below is my current Top 10 list of the year!

I joined Meep's (Michael Ferrari's) podcast, Retro Movie Love, again to talk about 1991 films! We are now on September and October movies. It's crazy that we are already almost done with the year. It's been fun to revisit and see many gems from '91!

I re-watched and watched for the first time many.
And a treasure trove it was--personal highlights including Madonna Truth or Dare, Henry Jaglom's Eating, Thelma & Louise, Don't Tell Mom the Babysitter's Dead, Soapdish, Spike Lee's Jungle Fever, The Reflecting Skin, and two pleasant horror surprises: Stuart Gordon's version of The Pit and the Pendulum and the admittedly fun The Omen IV: The Awakening! Also one of my favorite movies of the year and of the decade was released here too, Cynthia Scott's Strangers in Good Company.
